Thought it might be related to Symantec, so I uninstalled that using the uninstall tool which hunts down all related files. Yet again, I'm having kernel panics/issues. Took my computer into Apple, they said the hardware was good, and they wiped the computer and told me to restore from my Time Machine backup and leave the Documents and Settings option unchecked, which makes sense because they think something was wrong with my preferences. ![]() Reset SMC, PRAM, reinstalled OS X from backup, etc. Started having kernel panics and thus unexpected shutdowns. I'm running Yosemite on my MacBook Pro Retina 15" 2014. ![]()
